The Story Behind the Ramadan Fasting Tablet

 

One day, with the Holy Month of Ramadan just a few days away, I remember the tears in my 80 year old grandmother's eyes as she was regretfully telling me her wish to fast Ramadan as she has always done throughout her life. But her health now would not allow her to do so. I wished then to do anything to make her wishes in fasting possible without any negative effect on her health. Since then, the idea of making the fasting experience easier has been on my mind.

 

As the years past my grandmother died without being able to find a way to make fasting possible for people like her. However, the idea never died. One day while on one of my many frequent business trips to China, I met a professor of Chinese Herbal Medicine at the University of Beijing. We discussed Chinese herbal medicine and the unique properties it employs that can be used in nutritional supplements. I remembered the story of my grandmother and the idea of how to make fasting a possible experience for all.

 

With more than two years of research and the blessings of Allah (swt), both at the Beijing University Laboratories for the Herbal and Chinese Medicine and at the company laboratories here in California we were able to find the right composition for the Ramadan Fasting Tablet! It proved the truthful saying of what our beloved Prophet Muhammad(PBUH): (Search for knowledge and science even as far as China).
